Information
P (Parking gear)
When parking, switch the gear to the P gear, use the mechanical device to lock the rotating part, and lock the output shaft through the parking brake device inside the transmission to tighten the hand brake to prevent the car from moving. The P gear can be switched only when the car is completely stopped. In addition, most automatic models can only be ignited in P or N gears, which can prevent accidents in which the car suddenly starts to move due to accidentally hooking into gear.

R (reverse gear)
The R gear is easy to understand and is used when reversing. Generally, car models are equipped with a safety button. When it is not started, the safety device needs to be pressed to switch to the R gear. In the driving state, the R gear cannot be switched.

N (Neutral)
When waiting for traffic lights or congested roads, and the stopping time is a little longer, it is best to switch to the N position and tighten the hand brake at the same time. The main reason is that long-term braking in the D gear state will increase the temperature of the transmission oil and easily deteriorate the oil. But it should be noted that some people think that switching to N gear when driving at high speeds or downhill helps to save fuel. In fact, this can easily cause damage to the transmission and is also very dangerous.

D gear (forward gear)
D gear is used for general road driving. It is determined according to the size of the accelerator and the speed of the vehicle. When the driver steps on the accelerator deeply or sharply, the gearbox will downshift and increase the speed accordingly. When the accelerator is released, the gearbox will increase. block.

L1, 2 gear (low gear)
L1 is called a steep slope gear, which is generally used on steep roads, and L2 is called a gentle slope gear. Generally, in the L1 or L2 gear, the transmission will limit the gears to work in the 1st and 2nd gears and cannot be changed to other gears. They can all be called low-speed gears.

S block (sports block)
Some models will be equipped with S gear, which is sports gear. After switching the sports gear, the gearbox will delay the timing of upshifts to obtain a higher number of revolutions, so that the power becomes more abundant, but the relative fuel consumption will also increase accordingly.

M gear (manual gear)
Manual mode usually appears on auto-manual models. When switching M gear, the driver can change gears according to his own needs, by pushing "+" "-" or using paddles to shift gears.
